Director Jayatheertha, who brought the Lucia pair, Ninasam Sathish and Sruthi Hariharan back together in Beautiful Manasugalu, has generated further interest by creating a concept-based photoshoot.

The theme of the shoot, he says, blends well with the storyline. "We have five concepts -- the first is called Boti-Tea. The hero, a bar owner's son, meets the daughter of a pujari. They keep their love so simple that they start their first romantic interactions takes place over snack and tea, which we have tried and captured in the picture," he says.

Bubble, lighting, rain, and walk are the other concepts, each with a story to tell, he tells City Express.

"The photos will be released as and when we shoot those portions, which will take us through the film," he says.

According to the director, Beautiful Manasugalu is hard to box into one genre. It's as much a suspense thriller as it's a romantic comedy, says the director. "The title, meaning beautiful soul, also creates social awareness," he adds.

The second schedule is slated to kick off from April 21.

Beautiful Manasugalu is produced by Prasanna under Skanda Entertainment. B J Bharath will score the music and Kiran Hampapura is being roped in as cameraperson.

"We hope to complete the shoot by May-end," the director says.
