KGF to seek divine blessings on thursday

Yash’s much-anticipated magnum opus KGF, directed by Prashanth Neel, will seek divine blessings at a temple in Bengaluru on Thursday, with a small puja. The film made under the banner Hombale Films has Bhuvan Gowda as its cinematographer while Ravi Basrur has been roped in as the music director.

The team will be heading for a location hunt after the puja.  Though the exact date has not been decided,  we got to know that the film is likely to go on floors from this month end and they will shoot Yash’s character as a child.

Meanwhile Prashanth is getting ready with the various artistes, which will be an ensemble cast.

Interestingly, except for the lead hero and a few other senior actors,  the film will have mostly newcomers.  A few people in the team are currently undergoing training since the last two months under Prashanth, who is making sure they are confident to face the camera.  The director is in search for the perfect heroine to play the most coveted role in this period drama.

Santhu’s on schedule

The shoot for Santhu Straight Forward starring Yash is going on in full swing.

The makers have completed 45 days of shoot and will start the next schedule from June 9.  Looks like the shoot, going at brisk pace, will be wrapped up shortly.

“If everything goes as per planned, one can watch Santhu on screen by September or October,” says our source.

The film produced by K Manju and directed by Mahesh Rao features Radhika Pandit in the female lead with Shyam playing the antagonist.
