When two talented actors of the calibre of Sudeep and Nithya Menen come together, their pairing not only creates a sensation, but also gives a new dimension to the beauty of the film. Teaming up for the first time in the bilingual film, Kotigobba 2 in Kannada and Mudinja Ivana Pudi in Tamil, the actors have now intensified the buzz by lending their voice for a romantic duet in the film.

Confirming the news, Surappa Babu, the producer of the film said, “Sudeep and Nithya completed recording for the song. The lyrics have been written by Dr Nagendra Prasad and they have sung only for the Kannada version.

The song sequence was shot recently at Innovative Film City, choreographed by A Harsha.”

The singing talent of the actors is not hidden. While Sudeep has lent his voice for a few Kannada songs, Nithya, who has sung in other languages, has sung in Kannada for the first time.

With the makers completing shoot of the film, they are now in the post-production stages and are planning for an ideal release date. “We will be going to the censors by end of June, and we are hopeful to come to theatres a week or two after  the release of the most expected film Kabali starring Rajinikanth in July.

The theatrical release might cross 1000 screens with Tamil and, Kannada versions releasing simultaneously in India and across the globe. “I am confident that this film will be the biggest hit of 2016. I want to thank Sudeep, who made it possible to bring out this wonderful film,” the producer said.

The story of the bilingual film has been written by T Sivakumar and helmed by K S Ravi Kumar, a well-known director from Tamil industry, having films  like Muthu, Thenali, Dasavathaaram and Lingaa among many others to his credit.
