Manoranjan's next with rockline Venkatesh

Actor has been approached by producer for Kannada remake of Dhanush-starrer Velaiyilla Pattathari

Manoranjan, who will be marking his debut with Saheba, has already been offered his next. A source says his second film will be with Rockline Venkatesh.

We hear the producer has approached him to be part of the Tamil remake of Dhanush-starrer Velaiyilla Pattathari (VIP) in Kannada. Rockline Venkatesh had picked up the rights of VIP along with Visarane. Currently discussions are on and, if everything goes well, Manoranjan will sign on the dotted line soon.

The producer did mention in his earlier interview with City Express that  “VIP  is  an entertainer, which will be liked by the Kannada audience and that’s one of the reasons I  picked it up.”

Rockline Venkatesh felt that Manoranjan can reprise the role of Dhanush in Kannada and has spoken to the actor. He will be sitting and discussing further with Manoranjan’s father Ravichandran before taking the final call. VIP, the 25th film of Dhanush released in 2014 was a box office in Tamil Nadu. The film also featured Amala Paul in the female lead.

While Manoranjan is currently busy with Saheba directed by  Bharath.  Rockline is on the sets of Gandu Endare Gandu starring Ganesh and Shanvi Srivastava. The song sequences are being shot for the film helmed by Ramesh Aravind.
