Kalpana 2 audio to be released on june 9

Upendra, who has recovered from his ankle injury, has completed shoot for the introductory song of his upcoming film Kalpana 2. 

The patriotic number about Kannada and Karnataka was shot in and around Bengaluru locales. With Kalaimaster choreographing the song, the actor was accompanied by 100 dancers and 150 juniors.     

"We had completed 4 days of shoot of the patriotic Kannada song, sung by Puneeth Rajkumar ,when Upendra injured his leg and he was adviced rest. He joined back on May 29 when we completed that particular song," says director Ananth Raju.

The team is headed to Goa today where he will be shooting for a duet song with Avantika Shetty. The director, who has completed 90 per cent of post-production work is now waiting to include the songs, before bringing out the first copy.

An audio launch of Kalpana 2  is planned for June 9, which arrangements are currently going on. The film also features Priyamani who plays one of the female leads.   

Meanwhile Upendra has almost completed the shoot of his other film, Mukunda Murari. He is just left with one song which will be done according to date availability of Sudeep and Upendra as it is the song that will see the combination of the two.

Uppi is also gearing up for his next, Upendra Matte Hutti Ba, Inti Prema, which will go on floors sometime in June.
