Prem expects many whistles, wild dancing for the villain

Prem is getting all pepped up with his upcoming directorial The Villain, starring Shivarajkumar and Sudeep, and the movie is taking shape just the way he wanted. Prem has penned the lyrics of all five songs in the film, and their composition is nearly done. The actor-director, who has a penchant to write lyrics, says that he only writes songs  for the film that he directs. “The Villain will see a new pattern of music. I can confidently say that we will have Shivarajkumar and Sudeep fans dancing or whistling to each of these songs,” says Prem.

The filmmaker has previously written songs for Shivarajkumar, who worked with Prem in films like Jogi and Joggaiah. “This is the first time I am writing a song for Sudeep. He had asked me to pen a song for his film, Maanikya, but I respectfully said no, since I was not directing that film. I don't raise my collar as a lyric writer, but I put in my style in the songs, which I can do only with my films. I like to bring in that raw feeling through words," he says.
Meanwhile, Prem has zeroed in on the locations in London, Bengaluru and other places to shoot. The director before starting with his first schedule, plans for a teaser and a photoshoot, which he says will take place in the coming days. "I have planned separate photoshoots for both Shivarajkumar and Sudeep. The two will have a new look  with stylish wigs. Even I am excited to watch out for their look," he says. Prem has chosen Arjun Janya as the music director for the movie.
