Hariprriya’s drastic transformation for each film has to be appreciated. The Neer Dose actress, who is awaiting the release of Bharjari, has a slew of projects in the pipeline and each sees the actress look strikingly different.

The character she plays in epic drama Kurukshetra stands apart from her roles in Samhaara, Kanaka and Katha Sangama.

She is open to a makeover in Dinakar’s upcoming directorial Life Jothe Ondhu Selfie, and her later Sooji Dhara seems to be an yet another interesting project. Hariprriya shared with City Express, the fi rst look from these films.

“Sooji Dhara has a realistic feel and my look will reflect that,” says Hariprriya.

“The first look was shot with just street lights and the character I play, of a married woman, is central to the story.” The film is to go on floors from September first week. Hariprriya says that the project caught her interest with the story by Mounesh Badiger and the director’s background in theatre.

“He has done short films and his Kannada literary work is something to take notice of and Sooji Dhara draws from a short story written by writer Indra Kumar,” she says. She says, over the years, working in varied films and with different directors, she is now able to strike a balance between commercial and experimental films.

“I did Neer Dose and won many hearts, I hope to repeat it with Sooji Dhara,” she says.
