Great chemistry on Life Jothe Ondh Selfie sets: Dinakar Thoogudeepa

Dinakar Thoogudeepa has completed the second schedule of his upcoming directorial Life Jothe Ondh Selfie. The film, starring Prem, Prajwal and Hariprriya, is on a roadtrip with friends. The director, who has shot a lot of its portions in Udupi and Goa, shares a few photos from the sets with City Express. He tells us that there is 19 days of shooting left. “Our next schedule, for three days, will start from December 12. Two days will be in Chickamagalur and we will wind up in Bengaluru, and here more artistes will join the sets,” he says.

That the film script is by Dinakar’s wife Manasa made it even more special, says the director. He says that he is happy with the way the film has been shaping up. “Life Jothe Ondh Selife is not a complicated script, but keeping the actors in character was interesting. Thankfully, there was excellent chemistry among Prem, Prajwal and Hariprriya and their screen presence will add much value to the film,” says Dinakar, who adds that the writers and his wife have been working along with him during the making.

“Manasa has been overseeing my work in Life Jothe Ondh Selfie and her inputs have enhanced the movie,” he says, adding, “she had many suggestions for the pre-climax scenes, which was shot keeping a food festival in the background and she brought in her expertise with food and its presentation. Though as a director I was a bit easygoing with the artistes, as a writer she was particular about getting the the perfect shot. She is also aware that scripting a film is easier than directing it. She experienced it on the sets.”
Life Jothe Ondh Selfie is bankrolled by Samruddhi Creations, the music is by V Harikrishna and the cinematography is by Niranjan Babu.
