Sudeep, who has had a successful run in Sandalwood, has time and again crossing borders into the rest of south India and Bollywood. He has been offered projects particularly from Telugu and Hindi film makers, and he has agreed to be part of Chiranjeevi 151st film in Telugu titled Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.

Sudeep has also been approached for the multilingual film. The film based on Mahabharatha epic also has stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Vikram part of the project. The star now also has an offer from m director Rohit Shetty. The filmmakers are keen on working with Sudeep and discussions are on, but the actor has not given a nod to the multilingual film and Rohit Shetty directorial. The reason, we hear, is that he wants to complete his commitments in Kannada before signing on any more projects. As of now, the only movies he has accepted outside Sandalwood are the Telugu film Uyyalawada... and the Hollywood flick Risen.

He accepted the Tollywood project because the producer of the film said that he wanted to gift his father great cinema and wanted the best performers from the country to act in it. Sudeep, who heard this, was humbled when he was approached for the film, says our source.

Sudeep is currently shooting for Prem’s The Villain and will follow that up with S Krishna’s Pailwan and Surappa Babu’s Kotigobba 3. In between,  he also has a film with senior actor Ambareesh titled Ambi Ning vaisyatho, which is being made under Kichcha Productions.

Our source says, “He wants to fulfill his Sandalwood commitments and then act in the Hindi films. If he has dates free after shooting for Krishna and Surrappa’s projects, or in between, only then he will take up the other movies”.
