The actress has been roped in for Chandru's Kanaka. She will be featured opposite Vijay for the first time

The year 2017 is turning out to be quite a good one for Manvitha Harish. Having started with Tagaru directed by Suri, theKendasampige girl is now running on a spree of projects. The actress, who is currently busy with projects - Tagaru and  Relax Sathya directed by Naveen Reddy has just bagged another big film.

Manvitha has been roped in for R Chandru's Kanaka, where she will be paired opposite Duniya Vijay. An excited Manvitha confirms this with City Express. "Vijay is blessed with a combination of being rugged and innocent look, which is rarely seen among heroes. Moreover, I am getting to work with Sathya Hegde, whom I consider as one of the best cameraman of the Kannada film industry. He was also one of the reasons behind the success of my first film, Kendasampige," she says.

The director, who has finalised one of the heroines for Kanaka is all geared up to take the movie to the floors The film will also feature another heroine, which the director plans to confirm once he completes the first half of the shoot.

Vijay, who will be playing the role of an auto driver in Kanaka has music by Naveen Sajju.
