The audio release of Imran Sardhariya’s upcoming directorial Uppu Huli Khara, which was held on Saturday was a grand affair.
Though there were many ‘superstars’, it was Sudha Murthy who stole the show. Sudha, a philontriphist, writer and chairperson of the Infosys Foundation, is also a big-time movie buff.
Sudha released the audio of the film along with actors Malashree, Rakshit Shetty and Dhruva Sarja; producers K Manju and Jack Manju; director AP Arjun and with the entire Uppu Huli Khara team including singers.
An excited Imran, told us that Sudha Murthy has been a well-wisher of this film. “She has been very supportive to the producer M Ramesh, who works under her. This is Ramesh’ first venture, which is made under Tejeshwini Enterprises. I had an opportunity to narrate the story to Sudha mam, who is also a story writer. She even visited the sets,” says Imran.
We overheard her interaction with Rakshit Shetty, Murthy said she liked his acting in Simplag Agi Ondhu Love Story. Talking to Dhruva Sarja, she mentioned that she is yet to watch his films but had seen a lot of Shakti Prasad’s (Dhruva’s grand father) films.
Uppu Huli Khara is Imran’s second film as a director. The movie has Shashi Devraj, Sharath, Anushree, Dhananjay and B Jayashree in pivotal roles. The film has Malashree playing an important role with Ragini Dwivedi being a part of a special song.
The film has music by Judah Sandy and cinematography by Niranjan Babu.
