Radhika excited about her small screen debut

Radhika Kumarswamy, a well-known name in south Indian film industry, is all set to step into the small screen. The actress will be a judge in the new dance-based Kannada reality show Dance Dance Juniors for children, which will be aired from mid-June on Star Survarna.Radhika will be accompanied by another popular actor Prem of Nenapirali fame and Bollywood choreographer Salman.

The actress, who was just stepping into the shoot of her first reality show when we called her, told City Express that she is excited about her small-screen appearance and hopes to have a good experience. “I agreed to be a judge on this show mainly because there will be dance and I will be watching small kids shaking a leg, which will make it a little difficult to judge,” she says. “I will also be performing at this show and have been rehearsing for that over the last few days.”

Shamika, a big fan of her dance

Radhika who has often spoken about her passion for dancing is happy to be at the right place. Apparently, her daughter Shamika is a big fan of her dancing, the actress says. “She always joins me when I am practising at home and follows my steps. She is full of energy and enjoys trying out different dance forms. But I make sure she is keeps her interest in studies too,” she says.

Actress tight-lipped about her next project

Radhika is working on her next film Kontract with Arjun Sarja and JD Chakrabarthy in the lead roles. But she does not share much about this. “I want to talk with details only at the right time,”
she says.
