Radhika Pandit and Nirup Bhandari film gets started

Made under Rockline Productions, yet-to-be-titled film marks directorial debut of V Priya in Kannada; Muhurath on December 1 and shoot starts on December 11

Radhika Pandit and Nirup Bhandari coming together for a film made under Rockline Productions created a buzz in Sandalwood. The movie is now set to go on floors, with the muhurath fixed for December 1. Producer Rockline Venkatesh, who decided to do this project for its script written by V Priya, confirms this. Priya, who has assisted director Maniratnam and helmed three Tamil projects, will make her directorial debut in Kannada with this movie.

‘There is nervous excitement’

Priya, who has been camping in Bengaluru, is eager to start the shoot from December 11. “I have a nervous excitement,” says the director, who is yet to decide on the title. “We have a few options and are in the process of finalising an apt one,” she adds.The storyline will include action, comedy and love. “It will be a family entertainer, for young and the old,” she says. The film also has an interesting cast including Tara and Suchendara Prasad with Preetha Jayaram as its cinematographer. The production house and director will share more details, once the film starts rolling.

Double dhamaka for Radhika

Radhika will be celebrating her wedding anniversary (Yash and Radhika got married on December 10, 2016) and getting to do what she likes the best -”acting”. She says, “I can’t believe how time flies. It is going to be a year of my marriage. I am also looking forward to facing the camera.” The celebrity couple are planning a trip abroad to celebrate the occasion, and Radhika will join the sets on return.

Nirup is looking forward to working with a new team

Nirup Bhandari, who has been recovering from the injury he got during the shoot of an action sequence of
Rajaratha, is part of a song from this movie and will complete it today. All the while he has been preparing himself for his next with Priya, including gaining a few kilos for it.“I will start shoot from December 11 but, in a way, I have preparing for this film over the last month by reading through the script. I know the character well now and have ten more days to brush up,” he says. This is Nirup’s third film and first with a new director, and he is glad to be working with a whole
new team.
