Raj B Shetty, a trendsetter with his film Ondu Motteya Kate, is a new favourite in Sandalwood. In his last interview with City Express, the director-actor had said that he would focus on his acting for a while and his second film sees him play a cab driver. But, what is more interesting is his third project.

It will be a step up for Raj because he will be acting in a movie made under Puneeth Rajkumar’s production house, Parvarthamma Rajkumar Productions. Puneeth had announced that their second production will be made with Radhakrishna Reddy, and for this Raj will be working with the first-time director.

No official announcement has been made because the director is still working on the movie’s script, and he plans to take to the floors only after couple of months and when he has everything in place. But the team has decided that Raj will play the lead.

With Puneeth looking to do experimental films, and his first attempt being Hemanth M Rao’s Kavalu Daari starring Rishi and Anant Nag. Moviegoers would be curious about the production house’s second film, particularly with who will play the lead and rest of the cast. How this new combination of
producer, director and actor will turn out is something we are all excited to watch.
