Actor Darshan and director Tarun Sudhir coming together for a film was something City Express reported earlier. Now, it is confirmed that Umapathy will be coming on board as its producer.
Initially, the buzz was that Umpathy was joining hands with director Prem for a project, which is not the case now.
Our source says, “Darshan, after much thought, has decided to go with Umapathy for Tharun’s film.
The Chowka director, who got the green signal from Darshan over a year ago, is already ready with the script and can go ahead with the project anytime. Darshan made this decision after he realised the director’s dedication.”
Darshan is busy juggling between dubbing for Muniratna Kurukshetra, and also working out schedules for his upcoming film, Yajamana, directed by Pon Kumar, which will now get into the second schedule from April 6.His next project will be with producer Sandesh Nagaraj, after which he will start on Sudhir’s project.
While the makers feel it is too early to reveal more details, Darshan, Umapathy and Sudhir are waiting for the right moment to make an official announcement.
