With her svelte figure, charming smile and sharp looks, it seems this dusky beauty is in love with the God’s Own Country. Talking about none other than the sizzling hot Nicole Faria, who recently visited the state for the launch of luxury Swiss watch brand. “It is my second visit to the state and I am so happy to be back again. Earlier I have been to Calicut. I loved the beaches there and it is a lovely place,” says the model-turned-actress.

Her entry into the world of glitz and glamour was at the age of 15. Winning the Femina Miss India 2010 was an overwhelming experience but greater than that was the 2010 Miss Earth pageant where she bagged the title becoming the first and only Indian woman to attain it. “It was a beautiful moment in my life. I was happy in creating history,” says a proud Nicole.

Like any beauty pageant winner, she too had dreams of entering into Bollywood. And lady luck showered as Divya Khosla Kumar’s Yaariyan. In the GenY film which made waves among youth for its spiritedness, saw Nicole essaying the role of a college hottie Jia. “It is entirely a new experience working in films and I love acting. I throughly had fun in the sets of Yaariyan as most of the cast and crew of the film were young,” says the chirpy actor. Even after the release of the film, the songs of the film is garnering applauds. One being the ‘Sunny Sunny’ song by Yo Yo Honey Singh where Nicole is featured in a bikini. With her uber sexy looks and scintillating moves, she fired the screen. After her dream debut, Nicole has a couple of new projects in her kitty. “I am listening to some scripts but nothing is finalised as such,” says the doe-eyed beauty.

She was also part of this year’s Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar- one of the hottest calendar in India. Though having a curvaceous well-toned figure, Nicole is an avid foodie and likes Kerala cuisine very much. “While thinking about Kerala, the first thing that comes to my mind is its fiery fish curry. I love karimeen fry too. They are so delicious,” says Nicole.

Quite differently Nicole loves the summer in the state as she feels that the climate here is good for the skin.

She is a but sad about her quick visit and hopes to come back soon to Kochi and relish on fish curry. “Due to my hectic schedule I have to return back and sadly I wont get time to eat my fish curry,” signs off Nicole.
