Mohanlal-Mukesh-Priyadarshan Trio Again
Mohanlal-Mukesh-Priyadarshan team has always been a hilarious one. They are joining hands in Priyadarshan’s upcoming film titled Ammu to Ammu. The trio’s earlier outings were Boeing Boeing, Vandanam, Kakkakuyil etc. They last came together for the movie Oru Marubhoomi Katha.
Priyadarshan has penned the story and script of Ammu to Ammu. He is currently busy with his Tamil flick featuring Ashok Selvan, Prakash Raj, Shreya Reddy, and Nassar in the main roles. The film revolves around AIDS awareness.
Mohanlal last associated with Priyan for Geetanjali. Ammu to Ammu is expected to roll out by first week of October.
Bhavana in Kohinoor
Bhavana does a very important role in the upcoming movie Kohinoor directed by Vinay Govind. Asif Ali does the protagonist in the movie. Indrajith, Sunny Wayne, Aju Varghese, and Chemban Vinod do prominent roles in the movie. Aparna Vinod does the female lead. The story and the script are written by Ranjeet Kamala Shankar and Salil Menon. Kohinoor is a story that happens during the 1987-88’ period.
Kohinoor is the debut production venture of Asif Ali along with his friends Sajin Jaffer and Brijeesh Mohammed under the banner of Adam’s World of Imagination. Thalasserry is the main location.
Prithviraj to Play Lord Krishna
Veteran Malayalam director Hariharan is set to make a comeback in a big way. Known for his hit films like Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha and Pazhassi Raja among many, the director’s next project will be a mythological flick centered around Lord Krishna. As per buzz the film is titled Syamanthakam and Prithviraj will be portraying Krishna with shades of a philosopher and a lover. The big budget film will be made in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The shoot is expected to begin by the end of the year.It will have actors from all over the country.
Rasool Pookkuutty has also been roped in for the project which is produced by Gokulam Gopalan.
Mumbai Taxi Getting Ready
Mumbai Taxi featuring Badusha, the child artist in Pappayude Swanthum Appoos, as hero is getting ready for release.
The movie is directed by debutant Fazil Basheer. The script and dialogues are penned by Jaison T John and Fazil Basheer.
Mareena Michael plays the lady lead. The cast also includes Riyaz Fasan, Sreejith Ravi, Tini Tom, Sivaji Guruvayoor, Sunil Sugatha, and Babu Jose.
Anwar Aman composes music for the lines written by Chittoor Gopi. Mumbai Taxi is produced by Riyaz Fasan under the banner of Media Mission.
