Amidst all the noise that his latest film Savitri is creating, director Ram Gopal Varma on Wednesday tweeted the link to his latest short film, A day in the life of Lakshmi Manchu’s feet. The film that was open to public viewing on YouTube received 18,769 views in seven hours.
The movie was launched along with a note from Lakshmi Manchu that said, “A day of in the life of Lakshmi Manchu’s feet directed by Ram Gopal Varma. RGV’s first short-film, the film includes many interesting and emotional elements which capture the heart of a viewer.”
The movie captures a typical day in Lakshmi Manchu’s life with primarily her right foot as the focus – from her waking up to playing with her daughter, to her time spent shooting, it is all captured in three minutes. There are also glimpses of her siblings Vishnu and Manoj, and also father Mohan Babu. Overall, the film captures the multiple roles Lakshmi Manchu takes up in a single day through her foot.
