The beautiful fiancé of actor Shanthanu Bhagayaraj, Kiki has more than one reason to be on a high.

The excitement in her voice is palpable when you talk to TV personality Kiki Vijay. The beautiful fiancé of actor Shanthanu Bhagayaraj, Kiki has more than one reason to be on a high.

Glassmates, a musical video album featuring a song called Lipstick, filmed on the love birds Shanthanu and Kiki, was released on social media on Friday. The posters of the song were released in phases by Shanthanu in a unique manner, raising curiosity levels about the actual content in the past few weeks. People were unable to guess whether the poster referred to a movie or an ad the couple were doing together. Now, with the release of the video,  the secret has finally been revealed.  The song  has hit all the right notes and the phone hasn’t stopped ringing since morning for Kiki. “I’m being called the Lipstick Girl thanks to the lyrics Lipstick pota thaan in the song!” laughs Kiki in a chat with City Express.

Shot at the Victoria Memorial in Chennai, the song features a photographer falling for a celebrity. Says a modest Kiki, who has been a well known  TV show host for eight years,  “The concept was very different since Shanthanu, a real-life actor and celebrity, plays a photographer while I play a celebrity! Shanthanu was very helpful giving me tips since it’s the first time I’m doing something like this on screen. Both of us are very grateful to my aunt Brinda Master who took two days off  from her schedule and worked on the complete concept  and also on my  entire look and body language. She also got Nayanthara, Trisha and Tamannaah to promote the video with their bytes on social media.”

Kiki feels it’s the best wedding present for the duo, “ The album producer, Ashish Kothari, is a close friend of ours and Glassmates was his idea. Featuring both of us in it like this before our wedding on August 21,  has made it a most unique and  cherished wedding gift.”

The video album will soon be released on TV channels with promotions by the team. The music is by Jeffrey Jonathan while Rembon is the art director.
