In order to highlight the importance of Ayurveda, a film titled Adbhutha Vaidyam- Ayurvedam is in the making. S Ramachandra Rao is directing the film. KP Lakshmayyachari not only dons the lead in the film but also produces it under Dhanwanthary Creations banner. Newcomer Sri Shanthi plays the female lead.
“Sanjeevani which brings Lakshmana to life in Ramayana is Ayurveda. It’s the base of all kinds of medicines,’’ said the director on the sets of the film at Annapurna Studios. The film’s first schedule of shooting has been completed.
“Going by the title not even a single hero came forward to do the film. We want to send across the message in an entertaining way. It has item numbers by Abhinayasri and newcomer Sumathi,’’ said Lakshmayyachari.
Parvathamma is presenting the film.
Gundu Hanumantha Rao, Allari Subhasini, Raghunadha Reddy, Shi Shanthi, dialogue writer Kondala Rao, music director Bhasha and Sobha were among those present on the occasion.
