Director Thirumalai whose last release was Kaasedhaan Kadavulada, is now back with Maan Vettai. The film is a supernatural horror flick shot extensively in the thick forests of Andhra Pradesh. What’s more, he has shot the entire film in just 12 days.

Talking about his movie, produced by Rishvin Ventures, Thirumalai says, “The story is about a group of youngsters who visit a haunted hill area. The two spirits in the area kill any human around. When several people die one-by-one, one of the youth, from a TV Channel, tries to film the events but in vain. Why are the spirits against humans and do they succeed in their ventures is the story.” The film also has an underlying message for the youth.

The film stars Sharan, Shivani, Pradeep, Teja, Maya, Alisha, Vanitha and Priya. Suman Shetty brings up the comedy track. The film was shot around the Konai Falls, using three cameras and shooting day and night, with a three-hour-break in-between. The unit had obtained the necessary permissions for the forest shoot. Srikanth Deva has composed the two songs of the film, while Sudhakar handles the camera.
