After the ill-fated Arya-Anushka starrer Irandam Ulagam, Selvaraghavan seems to have found his mojo again. Though he seemed to be geared up for his next film with STR and Trisha, there wasn’t too much word about it till fairly recently. Selvaraghavan posted on his twitter page, “I cannot make a movie for the sake of it. I need to be addicted to the script. I can’t make a movie just for the sake of it or money. Finally I got one and started writing.” Known for his quirky bursts of creative energy, Selva had recently said that he was looking forward to starting work for the sequel to his period thriller Aayirathil Oruvan, that he has staved off for ages, but very little has come of that as well. He has also thanked fans and well-wishers and said that the announcement will come very soon.
