CHENNAI: Twitter haters recently went heavy with Soundarya-beating after she made a supposedly fun comment about Simbu’s singing abilities. Apparently when the daughter of the Superstar was asked what she would tell STR had she been a journalist, she candidly said: “Paadaatha Simbu.” (Simbu, please don’t sing).
Unfortunately for the Kochadaiiyaan director, extremist Simbu fans didn’t take the comment as sportively as he did.
Hate messages directed towards Soundarya, in defense of STR’s nightingale voice, till he stepped in, “Everyone has their right to comment about anyone. I request fans to stop this abusive approach. Please treat others the same way you treat me.”
