A Star studded night with pomp and glamour. A film’s release could not have got better and bigger than this. The film Kappal’s audio launch saw Kollywood biggies like Vijay, Chiyaan Vikram, director Shankar and AR Rahman supporting the film and cheering the director Karthik G Krish. Karthik had worked as Shankar’s assistant in films like Sivaji and Enthiran. The film stars Vaibhav of Goa fame and newbie Sonam Bajwa playing the lead roles. Karunakaran, VTV Ganesh, Karthik Priyadarshan and Arjunan of Kadhhaliil Sodhapuvadhu Eppadi play the supporting roles joining in a roller coaster ride of laughter.
With this film, Shankar is back to film production after a gap of four years, under the banner S Pictures & I Studios Entertainment. Kappal’s music is by Natarajan Sankaran.
The night saw some enchanting dance performances for Vikram and Vijay’s songs, as a tribute to both the actors.
Adding to the mood of celebration were a few talented singers from the show Super Singer, who dedicated the songs to A R Rahman.
