The official teaser of superstar Rajinikanth’s eagerly awaited film Kabali was released on Sunday at 11 am on YouTube. The teaser delighted fans so much that it began trending worldwide on social media networks within minutes of release.
The one-minute six-second long teaser shows superstar Rajini deliver one of his ‘punch’ dialogues. So great was the response that the teaser was retweeted more than 36,600 times, pushing it into the league of topics trending worldwide. Within 90 minutes of its release on YouTube, it garnered more than 1 lakh ‘Likes’ creating a record. The phenomenal response to the teaser was not entirely surprising, considering the huge fan following that the superstar enjoys.
The gangster film, in which Rajini plays a don, features Radhika Apte, Dhansikaa, Kalaiarasan, Dinesh and John Vijay. Directed by Pa Ranjith, Kabali has music by Santhosh Narayanan and has been edited by Praveen K L.
