CHENNAI: While the first look poster of the science-fiction thriller 2.0, a sequel to Enthiran (2010), will be released on November 20, the shooting is on in full swing and we hear more than two thirds of the portions, is over.
Rumour mills suggest that sometime ago, Shankar had convinced the authorities to shoot in a military camp in Chennai, as the director mostly opts for never-before -seen locations in his films. Rajini’s co-star Adil Hussain, who’s in the city currently, wrote on Twitter, “In Chennai since last 3 Days. Finally shot scenes with Rajinikanth. Delightful experience. He is
affectionate. Looking forward shoot more (sic).”
Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, 2.0 will have Superstar in triple roles, besides Amy Jackson, Akshay Kumar and Sudhanshu Pandey, in important roles. Having made on a lavish budget of `350 crore, the film will simultaneously be released in Telugu and Hindi.
