Jayam Ravi and Prakash Raj have acted together in films like Santosh Subramaniam (2008), M Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi (2004) and Bhooloham (2015). After a brief hiatus, they are sharing screen space in director Vijay’s next. While Sayyeshaa Saigal of Shivaay fame plays the female lead, Ravi will be seen as a tribal in the film.
“The shooting has been progressing at a brisk pace, and Prakash Raj is playing the role of a powerful industrialist. This film will explore more on human emotions, in a different angle, and no filmmaker has ever done before,” sources said,City Express also learnt that advocate-turned-entrepreneur Sam Paul will play an evil cop in the film. This yet-to-be-titled flick also has Thambi Ramaiah, Varun Kamal and Sanjay Bharathi in significant roles. “The actors also took part in workshops before their shooting schedules began,” the sources added.
