Varalaxmi plays a cop in Sibiraj’s next?

Saithan director Pradeep Krishnamoorthy is helming a film with Sibiraj, a Tamil remake of the Telugu mystery thriller Kshanam. While the Naaigal Jaakirathai (2014) fame plays the protagonist, Remya Nambeesan, will be seen as his ex-girlfriend. Sources say that the director has also reworked on the script to suit the sensibilities of the Tamil audience. Also, recently, the makers had announced that Varalaxmi has been roped in for an important character.


Meanwhile, a little birdie tells us that it’s a cop role, and she’s quite excited about the same. City Express has additional information that Kshanam’s heroine Adah Sharma, who was seen in the STR-starrer Idhu Namma Aalu, will be reprising her role in Tamil as well. Sibiraj’s father and actor Sathyaraj produces the Tamil version of the film under their home banner Nathambal Film Factory.
