Madhavan has been getting a lot of offers especially after his recent outing Irudhi Suttru (Saala Khadoos in Hindi). Currently, the Minnale (2001) actor has two films in his kitty. One — he’s working on a yet-to-be-titled project directed by Sarkunam of Vaagai Sooda Vaa (2011) fame, for which he has been learning the Chinese martial art wushu in the US. Two — he’s reprising Dulquer Salmaan’s role in the Tamil remake of the Malayalam hit flick Charlie, under Vijay’s direction. Now, the latest we hear is that he might join hands with filmmaker Karu Palaniappan.
Rumours are abuzz that the Pirivom Santhipom (2008) fame has written the script and Madhavan has been finalised as the male lead. Sources said veteran actor Raj Kiran had also been roped in for the project. However, official confirmation on the same is awaited.
On the other hand, it’s being said that the director duo Pushkar-Gayatri, who helmed Va Quarter Cutting (2010), will be directing Madhavan after he finishes his existing commitments.
Both of them had helped Irudhi Suttru director Sudha Kongara in scripting the film.
