HYDERABAD:  Inspired by the success of recent South Indian remake films like ‘Ghajini’ and ‘Wanted’, Bollywood is yet again going crazy for buying the rights of films from Tamil and Telugu.

According to reports, top Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan and Saif Ali Khan are fighting for obtaining the rights of the recently released Telugu movie ‘Don Seenu’. Debutant Gopichand Malineni directed this movie with actors Ravi Teja, Sriya Saran, Anjana Sukhani and Mahesh Manjrekar.

The film is about a young man, who is a huge fan of Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s film ‘Don’ and aspires to become number one don of the world. The rest of the movie revolves around his attempts to fulfill the dream.

The director says that his film has become so popular in Bollywood due to AR Murugadoss of ‘Ghajini’ fame. He added that Murugadoss watched his film and discussed about it in Bollywood and that was why they became so curious about it.

Gopichand informed that he wouldn’t be directing the Hindi version.
