HYDERABAD: Reacting to the incident at Sandhya theatre, actor Allu Arjun on Friday said that he was deeply heartbroken over the incident.

“Director Sukumar, the entire team of Pushpa, including me, were heartbroken after hearing this sad incident. I can't express my grief in words,” the actor said.

He said that he would extend financial aid of Rs 25 lakh to the family of M Revanthi. “Whatever we do, it cannot replace her. But we will always be with the family,” he said.

"I want to assure them they are not alone in this pain. I will meet the family personally. While respecting their need for space to grieve, I stand committed to extending every possible assistance to help them navigate this challenging journey,” Arjun said.

He further said that he would bear the medical expenses of the boy, who is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

On Friday, KIMS Hospital released an update on Sri Teja’s condition, stating that the child remains in critical care. He is on a mechanical ventilator with minimal inotropic support and is showing signs of neurological improvement. The hospital revealed that the child has persistent fever spikes and is being treated with higher antibiotics. He has been started on nasogastric (NG) feeding, which he is tolerating well, but his overall condition remains precarious.

The child was brought to the emergency room on December 4 in a semi-conscious state after receiving CPR from police and bystanders. He had low oxygen saturation and irregular breathing, requiring immediate intubation and ventilation.

Meanwhile, Advocate Ravikumar Vodyarapu filed a complaint with the National Human Rights Commission on Thursday.
