Violence and mayhem unleashed by rape convict Ram Rahim's followers in Haryana, Punjab, Delhi

A special CBI court today convicted Dera Sacha Sauda head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in a rape case, in a verdict pronounced amid unprecedented security cover, over 15 years after an anonymous sexual exploitation complaint was registered against him. The quantum of sentence, which could range from seven years to a life term, will be pronounced on August 28. The Dera chief has been taken into custody.
