HYDERABAD: Noura, a label by Dipti Sawardekar launched its exclusive festive line – Rustic Rajasthan. The expansive line of designs is inspired by the rustic colours and regal elements of Rajasthan.
The label believes in union of the best traditional aesthetics with contemporary styling, while maintaining artisanal techniques and integrity. This new collection under the label Noura focuses on the vibrancy of the festive season in India, which has just begun. This creation offers a range of comfort cuts and carefree styling.
The layering of each outfit has been accentuated with meticulous embroidery. Designer uses fabric like silk georgette, silk velvet, and silk net and silk habutai to create distinct pieces. Thrilled about the launch, the designer Dipti Sawardekar feels, “ I am really excited for my new venture and feel blessed that I can do something for empowering women and make them unveil their true self, who can conquer anything once they believe in themselves Dipti engages rural woman from across Jaipur to co-create her collections with her.
She has been associated with artisans from Jaipur for over a decade now. Dipti makes sure that a percentage of the profits go to all the kaarigars involved in co-creating the line. Besides this, the lable Noura also has a cell that works dedicatedly for women employees.
