Prospective mothers, medical and non-medical staff of KIMS cuddles celebrated International Yoga Day on Wednesday in a festive mood at the Mother and Child care facility, KIMS Cuddles, Kondapur. Dr Shilpi Reddy, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist, explained that Yoga had clearly laid out several aasanas and practices that can help pregnant women retain their fitness and agility.  She talked about the need to embrace Yoga in life.

Healthy Bharat banaye

Bharat Dynamics Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, celebrated the International Yoga Day with a lecture followed by demonstration of ‘asanaas’ presented by Raja Rao Adsumilli, Yoga guru and incharge Datta Kriya Yoga International (AP & TS).  S. Piramanayagam, Director (Finance) and Dr NK Raju, Executive Director (P&A) along with the employees took part in the event.

Catching them young

Kidzee & Mount Litera Zee School celebrated International Yoga Day with an intent to promote yoga in student’s life as it releases stress, increases concentration and enthusiasm in their day-to-day life. Last year, both schools supported this initiative by conducting various activities, which was appreciated by parents and students alike. This year, the students also demonstrated yoga for participants, to help them learn and perform together. The students and staff took part in the event.

Over 10,000 people including school children, women, members of paramilitary forces, officers from BSF and a large number of people gathered to participate in the third International Day of Yoga Celebrations in front of the 112-ft face of Adiyogi- the source of Yoga at Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore. Isha Yoga has multiple centres in Hyderabad and several thousands of Hyderabadis including stars such as Lakshmi Manchu, singer Smita are followers of Isha Yoga.

NMDC Limited observed the ‘3rd International Yoga Day’ today at its head office and in all its production projects too to create a greater level of consciousness for Yoga which brings about good health among employees and positively change the lifestyle.
