Harley-Davidson has introduced four new Softail models in India

HYDERABAD: To celebrate their 115th anniversary year, Harley-Davidson has launched a complete custom revolution with the introduction of four all-new Softail models that are said to merge the hard-riding performance of the Dyna line with the exceptional custom look of the Softail line.

The legendary Fat Boy motorcycle that defined the contemporary custom style for decades now comes in a refined satin-chrome finish that delivers a bold, muscular styling statement showing off its powerful engine and improved handling. The Heritage Classic has design cues that hark back to the vintage
styling of the 1950s models, yet remains technologically modern. The Fat Bob, an aggressive take on ‘what a cruiser should be’, stands as a ground-breaking motorcycle from the brand, while the Street Bob sticks to being a bare-bones bike that has that ‘go-anywhere’ air about it.

All the 2018 Softail models get the new Milwaukee-Eight 107 V-Twin engine that retains the iconic 45-degree V-Twin cylinder angle with a broad-shouldered top-end accentuated by a single camshaft design that tapers to a slim bottom end for a muscular contour. Displacing 1745cc, the new engine is touted to be faster and more powerful than before. With high-performance dual-bending valve front suspension and an easily adjustable hidden rear monoshock, the aggressively styled 2018 Softail models are faster, lighter and better handling than any of their Big Twin cruiser predecessors.

Price details:
Street Bob: Rs 11.99 lakh
Fat Bob: Rs 13.99 lakh
Heritage Classic: Rs 18.99 lakh
Fat Boy: Rs 17.49 lakh
