NEW DELHI: The BJP has identified internal security and good governance as the twin issues on which the party will go to the Lok Sabha elections.
Price rise, the failing economy and suicides by farmers will also be key issues which the party will take up during campaigning. All these issues will be incorporated in its election manifesto and the National Agenda of Governance of the NDA.
To firm up the strategy for the polls, BJP leader L K Advani held a meeting with all the BJP Chief Ministers who decided to focus mainly on development and welfare schemes.
Venkaiah Naidu said the NDA government had handed over a resilient economy to the UPA but now the economy is in the doldrums due to the wrong policies followed by the present dispensation.
