Looking for a serene ambience for open air get-togethers, or spending a quiet evening with your family in Hyderabad? Drive to Kona’s restaurant at Durgam Cheruvu also referred as the Secret lake beside Jubilee Hills.

The restaurant offers an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The restaurant has a chic and sophisticated atmosphere, beautifully appointed bar lounge, alfresco seating and spacious dining area with a breathtaking view of the majestic Secret Lake.

“Kona’s provides an exquisite culinary experience that celebrates classical, oriental and continental cuisines. Our dream of bringing the finest restaurant to the city has finally been fulfilled,” says Kona’s managing director Vinod Kona. It features a wide selection of wines and spirits. Connoisseurs can choose from an impressive list of national and international brands. The layout of the place is an open plan, which makes the place breezy and pleasant. Enjoy the beauty of the city from the terrace. The serene and calm ambience of the restaurant is perfect for a romantic dinner.

Setting the culinary stage is chef Mohammad Rauoof. The menu has an impressive selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Signature dishes in non-veg include pahari chicken, barbeque chicken, and chicken with oyster sauce and dum ki biryani. Some of the classic vegetarian delicacies include crispy cauliflower, dahi ke kebab, crispy corn, jeera rice and veg biryani to name a few. The crispy cauliflower and corn are simply divine. In case of the chicken with oyster sauce, the garlic blends beautifully with the dark chicken. The pahari chicken, dahi ke kebab (hung curd patties) served with mint chutney and aloo nazakat (stuffed potato cooked in tandoor) is a must try.

There is also a selection of salads, perfect for a lazy Sunday.

For desserts try Volcano, liquid chocolate stuffed in chocolate shell served with vanilla ice-cream.  The all day menu is extensive and offers a wide range of dishes and prices that suits every taste and budget.

Spread over 2,496 square yards, the restaurant also has a variety of seating options, and you have a choice of selecting a place according to your preference.
