

Don't stretch your imagination too far, you are not in Goa but in Hotel Ista. The hotel is organising a Goan food festival till November 23. Ista hosts ‘Sosegado’, the vibrant Goan food fest; at its all day dining restaurant, ‘Collage.’ The Goan cuisine served at Ista Hyderabad would reflect its history over the centuries. It involves a distinct and unique combination of spicy flavors that give the dishes their characteristic taste and aroma. Goan dishes like Vindaloo, Sorpotels, Balchao, Caldine curry will be set up in the Collage restaurant with live cooking of fresh fish flown from the Arabian Sea fresh every day. Fresh Sannas and plantain chips will follow with spicy coconut dips followed by the treats from the spread carefully prepared by Goan Chefs using selected spices and ingredients flown from Goa. A welcome drink made with “Kokum” as well as a small Goan Cocktail menu using “Fenni” a traditional drink would be on offer for guests.
There are different packages available at the restaurant according to the varying preferences of the guests, starting from Rs. 1200/- (Goan delicacies without spirits) per person to Rs. 1600/- (Goan delicacies with unlimited alcohol) per person.
