Ancient science of time travel

Time travel has been  one of the most intriguing subjects for physicists of all ages. Scientists have spent lifetimes racking their brains on how to make it possible; yet, according to the modern sciences it remains just a dream. But Vedic rishis had already decoded the mystery of time. The ancient sciences of Yog and Tantra are so advanced and inclusive that one can access different dimensions of time; right here, right now, sans any time machine!

Time as per Vedic rishis is nothing but the distance between two thoughts. That is why in states of dhyan, time does not exist, as at that point, thoughts do not exist. The higher the state of evolution or stillness, the slower is the passage of time. It is said that in a blink of Lord Brahma’s eyes, a yuga passes by, and a blink of Lord Vishnu’s eyes, a mahayug passes by. Through yogic practices like Sanatan Kriya, one is able to still thoughts and hence become independent of time. One can then travel in time — go forward or backward.

Travelling in time is widely used in Yog for the purpose of evolution and for aiding the Creation. Yogis visit past lives to assess their karmic dues and then address them in their present lives to move beyond. Though I would like the reader to know that what you see on television as a past-life regression session where the therapist tells you about your past life is usually mere hypnotism and the subconscious mind at play. It is a misconception that you regress into a past life. The past, the present and the future, all exist here, only they are in different dimensions. With advanced practices of Ashtang Yog and Sanatan Kriya and under the guidance of a guru, one is able to awaken the antahkarna — where all this information is stored — and experience different lifetimes on one’s own.

Similarly, looking into the future is an important tool in the healing sciences, which rectify an imbalance before it manifests in the physical. Often enough one hears of evolved beings who can predict the exact sequence of events as they are to occur in a person’s life, just by looking at the person. What a clairvoyant does is look at the subtler body of the being where the frequencies of these events exist in another form before they manifest in the physical. These events or frequencies can be changed as desired with the use of the science of colours or prana. The secret behind this ability lies in the power of agni — Fire.

It is known that light is a property of agni. As you ignite the inner fire, there is light and you are able to see things that were not apparent earlier, even though they very much existed all around. At this point, it is safe to say that agni has the power to make the unperceivable perceivable. Here agni refers to the luminous aspect of fire, which makes things visible to the eye.

Agni is one of the five elements or tattvas that compose a body. These are present in a specific combination in an individual. When one pursues Yog under the guidance of the guru, the ratio of elements in the body changes. The heat of tapa causes the agni tattva to rise in a being. Agni is the governing element for manipoorak chakra, which controls the sense of sight. This agni lights up the world of ether, granting the subtler senses of sight with which one can perceive the unmanifested or impending.
