Some of the snazzier electronic devices available in the market that can be worn on your person.

Vuzix Smart Glasses M100

On the face of it, the Vuzix Smart Glasses M100 looks like any ordinary Bluetooth headset, except it has an extended arm hovering over your eye. The arm carries a full colour, WQVGA display with a 16:9 display ratio that provides full visual access to your smartphone display. Since it has Ice Cream Sandwich on-board, it can both connect to your

Android or iOS smartphones, or can act as a standalone device displaying basic web content or data fed by on-board applications. Since it connects to your smartphone using either through Bluetooth or through WiFi, you can control it through the phone or through voice or gestures commands. Since it has a 1GHz processor, a 1GB RAM, 4GB of internal memory, a GPS chip and the ability to record 720p video, it is a worthy competitor to Google Glass available in the next few months.

O.R.B

Forget smart watches. The O.R.B is a smart ring. This fully waterproof ring made from military-grade seals and gaskets can be worn on your finger like any ring. But it is when you get a message, or call or for that matter any notification on your phone that the rings comes alive and start vibrating. On the horizontal e-ink display you can see the incoming caller ID and if you would like to answer the call, all you do is take out the ring, twist and make it a headset that can be worn over your ear. Since it incorporates HiWave technology, there is no ear piece inside your ear, but instead you hear high quality audio through bone-conduction. You can even decline calls, silence calls, dismiss events with the touch of a button. When it is idle, the ring serves as a time device or alarm clock.

Misfit Shine

Misfit Shine makes big clumsy activity trackers like Jawbone UP ashamed of themselves. The size of a button, this beautiful tracker is made from aircraft-grade aluminum and is made to last a lifetime. You can wear it anywhere on your body and it will track your activity. You can sync it with your smartphone just by placing it on the screen of the phone and you can track your activity on the accompanying app. It is water-resistant, and once charged the battery lasts four months.

Citizen Eco-Drive Proximity

The problem with smart watches is that they look smart. But they don’t look like watches. Citizen wants to rectify that with a watch that looks like a watch, and one that is a little smart. The Eco-Drive Proximity syncs with your iPhone through Bluetooth 4.0. Using a traditional dial it notifies you when you get a message or miss a call. The watch syncs with the time on your iPhone, and if you are to lose the phone, the search button on the watch will ping the phone.
