1) Apple iPad Mini with Retina Display

3) Nokia Lumia 2520


Nokia introduced its first tablet called Lumia 2520 during the Nokia Event 2013 in Abu Dhabi.  This is the first attempt by the Finnish company to enter into the tablet world.  It comes with a 10.1 inch full HD display.

The design of the tablet is very different from rest of its competitor. It has a one-piece polycarbonate body which is similar to all of Nokia’s Lumia’s phones.  

It sports a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and it is powered by Windows 8 RT. Along with this Nokia has added a 6.7 megapixels camera with Carl Zeiss lens.  It has a HDMI output, which will allow you to connect the tablet to connect it to a television.

Nokia has also selling the power keyboard which can be connected to the tablet and it helps the users to type easily along with an extra battery which gives around 16 hours battery life in total.

4) Amazon Kindle HD Fire


Amazon’s Kindle Fire HD Fire is the performance master. It has carries a display of 7 inches along with a screen resolution of 1920X1200 pixels. To make it more user friendly Amazon has moved the power button and the volume button on the rear of the tablet.

This flagship device is available in two variants 16GB and 32GB.

5) Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0


The South Korean company introduced the tablet in July this year.  This tablet carried a display of 8 inches with a screen resolution of 800X1280 pixels with a TFT touchscreen.

6) Sony Xperia Tablet Z

Sony Xperia Tablet Z is world’s thinnest tablet in the world. Sony introduced this tablet with water and dust resistant feature. It is a 10.1 inch tablet with a screen resolution of 1200X1920 pixels. It has a shatter proof and scratch resistant glass.

The device has an internal storage if 16GB which can be expanded up to 64GB .It has a 2GB RAM.

Sony has improved in terms of camera as the device carries an 8.1 megapixel camera along with a front-facing camera of 2.2 megapixels.

The tablet is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor. It has also been upgraded to the latest Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

It has up to 10 hours of battery life with a 6000 mAh battery.

7) Microsoft Surface Pro 2


Microsoft has added the Tegra 4-toting in the flagship device Surface Pro 2 tablet. The tablet is available in four variants ranging from the 64GB model to a 512GB model. Carrying a Full HD display of 10.6 inch the tablet, it has a screen resolution of 1920X1080 pixels.

The tablet runs the latest Windows 8.1 operating system, which develops the touch-focused OS. It is powered by Intel’s latest Haswell Core i5 processor. This processor helps in booting the system even the gaming experience is very good.

8) LG G Pad 8.3


LG recently launched its G Pad 8.3 tablet. LG has been out of the tablet category ever since ita last tablet was launched in 2011.Now, LG is back with a bang with LG’s latest G Pad which sports a display of 8.3 inches with a screen resolution 273 ppi.

LG has also added the SD card slot through which you can increase the storage capacity of the tablet. It has an internal storage capacity of 16GB.  

LG G Pad 8.3 comes with Android 4.2.2 which can be updated to Android 4.4 KitKat.

It is powered by 1.7 GHz Qualcomm quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor. 

It has a 4,600 mAh battery along with a 5.1 megapixels rear camera. It also has a front-facing camera of 1.3 megapixels.
