Blackberry Launches Porsche Design P'9983 Graphite Smartphone Priced at Rs 99,990

The smartphone is a variant of the Porshce Design P\'9983 which was released last year.

Blackberry has launched its new Porsche Design P'9983 Graphite smartphone in India at a price of Rs 99,990. The smartphone is a variant of the Porshce Design P'9983 which was released last year and is the fourth release of the collaboration between Blackberry and Porsche Design.

Specifications-wise, P'9983 Graphite smartphone is similar to the P'9983 model. 

It has a 3.1 inch touch display and a qwerty keypad with additional personalized auto-correction and next word suggestion  The smartphone operates on Blackberry 10 operating system. 

P'9983 Graphite has 2 GB RAM with a Dual Core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm MSM8960 processor and 64 GB intenal memory along with MicroSD card support up to 128 GB.

It has a 8 MP rear camera with 1080p HD video recording option and a 2100 mAh removable battery promising 14 hours talk time battery life.

The Porsche Design P’9983 Graphite smartphone from BlackBerry provides an exclusive Porsche Design PIN ID group - 2AAXXXXX that makes the user instantly recognizable among other Porsche Design users.


Blackberry has also listed a range of accessories with the smartphone like a premium stereo headset, an international charging kit, a polishing cloth and a USB cable for high-speed data transfer.

Though the specifications of the Porsche Design P'9983 Graphite looks inferior to other mid range smartphones available in the market, Blackberry puts the stress on secure communication and maintaining privacy.

"This smartphone is custom-built for power professionals aiming to make a style statement while not willing to compromise on effective communication and collaboration," said BlackBerry India's Director for Sales and Distribution Hitesh Shah.
