Microsoft Unveils Budget Phone Nokia 215

This is perhaps one of its kind budget phone that is equipped with GPRS facility.

Software giant Microsoft has taken a giant leap by launching the budget phone, Nokia 215, that offers the internet facility including the EDGE support.

With 2.4 inch display, Nokia 215 comes with pre-loaded applications such as Opera mini browser, Twitter and Facebook messengers besides MSN weather and Bing search.

The company has claimed that the phone’s battery back-up is around 29 days in standby mode, and offers 20 hours of talktime.

Nokia 215 will be available in the Indian and European markets. It’s priced at Rs. 1,836 in India and $29 in Europe and Middle East.
