WASHINGTON: Twitter has started a feature which auto-expand articles preview to external sites in the user’s timeline on Android and iOS devices.
According to the Verge, when the users browse through their feed they will notice that tweets from some publishers now include a large image and some introductory text along with links to the full article.
However, these auto-expanded previews will not show up for all links they will display for publishers who have set up Twitter’s summary cards.
The auto-expanded link preview will be yet another step by the company in making it more visual.
