WASHINGTON DC: Google has announced that the new version of Google Glass is coming for business use.

According to the Engadget, Google is distributing a work-oriented version of Google Glass to its enterprise partners' development teams.

The new version is a mix of performance and accommodating the demands of the working world. A hinge is there to attach it to on different glasses and the wider, thinner prism can move both vertically and horizontally. Also, it flaunts a faster Intel Atom processor, better wireless and longer-lasting battery packs that attach to the headset through magnets.

According to the WSJ, the consumer version is at least one year away and might not be as expensive as the USD 1,500 Explorer Edition.

The enterprise unit is likely to cost well below the Explorer's price point.
