New Launch

Want some spring in your wardrobe and summer songs on your lips? Fill in your shopping bags with these new things before they fly off the shelves.

Jeweller Ambar Pariddi Sahai’s  new collection Midas Touch is said to be inspired by the song, Will you still love me tomorrow. With an ‘old is new’ feel, the pieces have a traditional sense of scale and proportion but use new motifs and shapes to give the wearer a sense of novelty. The earrings, ear cuffs, body chains and statement necklaces are hand-crafted in base metal with gold-plating, giving them a regal look.  It’s priced at Rs 3,000 onwards.

Fragrant Story of a Muse

The new perfume within the Les Exclusifs de Chanel collection is named after Coco Chanel’s confidant and muse Misia Sert. Misia is perfumer Olivier Polge’s first creation for the House. Polge is the son of Jacques Polge, who has been Chanel’s in-house perfumer since 1978. Powdery notes of  violet and may rose, with a hint of leather, evoke the era of the 1920s. The warm base is made of notes of benzoin from Laos and tonka bean. Priced at Rs 10,400 (75 ml eau de toilette) and Rs 19,950 for 200 ml.
