Based in Delhi, Kriplani graduated in interior architecture from Fashion Institute of Technology, New York. After interning for Laura Ashley in New York, she set up her own venture. Between 1997 and 2002, when there were high import duties, she created a trend in bringing in brands to India.

Kriplani is the first among the few successful interior designers to have brought renowned international brands in luxury furniture and accessories to the Indian market. There have been change in times and the luxury market is not defined to the upper end. There is an improvement in quality of lifestyle and the luxury interiors are also in demand from the tier II cities.

Over the years, Kriplani has lucratively led and executed several niche turn key projects in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Goa and Bengaluru. Her creative use of space, fabrics, furniture pieces etc. creates a harmonious and a warm environment, reflecting and complementing the personality of her clients. Because of her taste of style and heritage, personalities like the Goenkas, Dr Karan Singh, Lalit Suri of Bharat Hotels, Vijay Mallya, and projects such as The Qutab Hotel, Delhi, JW Marriott  and Grand Hyatt, New Delhi have been accolades in her kitty. Due to her plush and choicest interior selections, she has won many recommendations, making her a powerful and influential personality among the others.

Through her motivation and profit-driven vision, she has also provided expertised services to design corporate offices of Jindal Steel and Karanjawala & Company Advocates; R K Marble; Corporate Office TCI; Corporate Office R L Group of Companies; Corporate Office of Dabur India alongside residence of BJD MP Jay Panda, Sunil Mittal, Jajodia Monnet Ispat, Suresh Kalmadi and residential and housing projects of Unitech, DLF, Periwals, etc. Currently, Kriplani is working with Bikki Oberoi, founder of the Oberoi chain of hotels.
