NEW DELHI: Two crucial decisions on the aviation sector are likely to emerge from the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs that is meeting on Thursday. The FDI from foreign airlines for the Indian carriers and an approval of the Air India’s Financial Restructuring Plan may be finalised.
Air India’s FRP, already approved by the banks consortium, will be discussed by the committee along with the induction of the Boeing 787 and the infusion of `4,000 crore by the government.
