NEW DELHI: RSS general secretary Suresh Joshi on Tuesday held meetings with senior BJP leaders here to ensure proper coordination between the two organisations and also to chalk out a roadmap for the future.
This is Joshi’s first visit to the capital after being re-elected general secretary of the organisation last month.
Sources said that Joshi in a meeting with senior BJP leaders, who included party president Nitin Gadkari, his predecessor Rajnath Singh, BJP patriarch L K Advani and senior party leader M Venkaiah Naidu, focused on areas “where proper coordination between the two organisations could be worked out”.
Sources said that “ways and means of strengthening the organisation” also came up for discussion.
