Kejriwal calls for gherao of PM, Gadkari houses

Coming out of the confusion that reigned after anti-graft activist Anna Hazare disbanded Team Anna, his key associate Arvind Kejriwal announced gherao of the residences of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and BJP president Nitin Gadkari, demanding an independent probe into the Coalgate.

Even as the erstwhile Team Anna is yet to spell out the contours of the political alternative, Kejriwal went ahead in chalking out the next move of his strategy to take up cudgels against the Congress-led UPA Government and the main Opposition, which, he alleged ‘were hand in gloves in the `1.86 lakh crore coal scam’.

“The Congress and the BJP had got together to loot the country under the `1.86 lakh crore coal scam. Gherao PM’s and Nitin Gadkari’s houses. Let’s assemble at Jantar Mantar at 10 am (on) Sunday,” Kejriwal said on social networking site Twitter.

“Not only the Centre, but many state governments comprising the Left, Right and Centre have colluded to plunder this country. If the total loss in this scam is estimated to be approximately 2 lakh crores, considering that there are 6 lakh villages in India, 30 lakhs were looted from each village,” he tweeted.
